The Art of Cashmere: Our Meticulous Process
Step 1: Sourcing
We source our cashmere from the underbelly of Capra Hircus goats in Mongolia's high plateaus. The harsh climate there produces the finest, longest, and warmest cashmere fibers in the world.
Step 2: Fiber Selection
Our expert artisans meticulously hand-select each fiber, ensuring only the highest quality, longest staples (typically 34-36mm) make it into our garments.
Step 3: Cleaning and Dehairing
The raw cashmere undergoes a gentle cleaning process to remove impurities, followed by careful dehairing to separate the soft undercoat from coarser guard hairs.
Step 4: Dyeing
We use eco-friendly dyes to color our cashmere, ensuring rich, long-lasting hues without compromising the fiber's natural softness.
Step 5: Spinning
The clean, dyed fibers are then spun into ultra-fine yarn using state-of-the-art spinning technology that maintains the integrity of the delicate fibers.
Step 6: Weaving
Our master weavers use traditional looms to create our signature cashmere fabric, carefully monitoring tension to achieve the perfect balance of softness and durability.
Step 7: Garment Construction
Skilled tailors cut and assemble each coat by hand, paying meticulous attention to every seam and detail.
Step 8: Finishing
The final touches, including buttons and embellishments, are added with precision. Each coat undergoes a thorough quality check before receiving the CashmereElegance seal of approval.
